When I ran the road, trips from Pittsburgh, PA to Evansville, IN went this way...Thru Wheeling, around Columbus, around Cincy, Thru Louisville. Trips south to Nashville meant 265 to 65.
Of course HAZARDOUS loads meant I had to go around the Wheeling tunnel... do NOT remember if Louieville required placards to go around. :h That could effect yoru choices if you can not take propane tanks thru town :E
