You get the visa in the building just to the west of the flag pole in the middle of the highway.
I stopped crossing at Lukeville, I found them far more picky there than at Nogales with all sorts of silly variations on the rules. You are more likely to be asked for a things like a marriage certificate, vet papers for your dog and have food taken away. Plus they can easily see your vehicle, and come up with soem excuse as to why it is inadmissible, whereas at Nogales they cannot. I think they are bored. I cross south at Nogales, & north at Lukeville. Besides crossing at Nogales makes it a lot easier to make it to San Carlos in one day.
