Maine: Skowhegan to Montpelier on State Route 2?
In July, we'll be taking a 35' gasser, pulling our toad across Maine. Is route 2 ok for the trip, or should we add the 100 miles, taking I95 to I89? -Neil

I had the misfortune of driving this route when a long stretch was very rough gravel for many miles. They were completely rebuilding the road bed. Bet its really nice now.
