Right! We went through that mess (in Western Maine) as well. The next year the job had been done and the new road was wide and smooth. You can get a slight look at what the old road was like just East of Wilton, ME, where a few miles have for some reason not been improved, but after that it's fine sailing all the way to Skowhegan
