Maine to Florida
Headed to Florida in April towing 30ft TT. What is best rout to avoid GW bridge. Lost my father few years ago so miss his route advice. Thanks for suggestions.

- What Veebyes said... We're in NH - used that approach last spring - MUCH nicer roads. Cut east/south again onto I-77 in VA, south on I-26 to I-95. Would use that route again!
- Any route other than 95 in ct and N.Y. worst area to travel in a car never mind towing , take a look at picking up 495 in mass to 90which is mass pike to84 in ct to 87 south in ny to 287 to 78 to 81 south to 75 tru Atlanta and into Florida longer but much nicer route to drive have done it a few times towing a 35 foot fifth wheel good luck
- Aim for Binghamton, NY. Get on 81 & stay on it to Knoxville, TN. Gets you well clear of the whole I95 mess.
- IMO, you either have to go down 95 or p/u 84 west to 81 south and go southeast and p/u 95 south again or 81 south and kinda zig-zag to 75 south (think this way takes you thru Atlanta)
