Mar Rosa Mazatlan is almost over
It's official, this beachfront park will close at the end of this years season, about the middle of May, after Semana de Motos. That's it for this location.
HOWEVER.....Young Dirk, son of the owners Dirk/Dick and Gabriella, is opening his own park directly across the street from the old Mar Rosa. The working name is Camaron Sabalo RV Park, the final name to be determined.
Learned all about it today. The architectural drawings look good. Work has begun. It will open November 1, 2017. There will be 13 spaces, a beautiful two story building in the back, with public spaces, restrooms and showers.
The spaces will only be available BY THE MONTH. 16,500p per month, 10% discount for 3 months, one month free for a season reservation of 6 months. They already have 7 spaces reserved!!!!
This lets us out, because we live in Zihuatanejo, and only pass through Mazatlan for a day or two each way. We'll sure miss the old location, beachfront, where we are sitting right now.
