Latest 8:20 PM. Storm is category 4 and expected to strengthen.
If it dead-centers on Mazatlan as a category 2, beach RV sites could recover in under a week. Mazatlan has a ten to fifteen foot high concrete containment wall. Olas Altas old Mazatlan is less protected but it has no RV parks. All of which are on or near the Zona Dorado.
Category 3, perhaps 2 weeks depending on worst case storm surge
Category 4. Can remove beach sand and storm surge can level beach structures of concrete and wood. Strongly hoping against
Category 5. This is unthinkable let's not go there.
