Mazatlan And Vicinity -- Hurricane Warning

Hurricane Willa became Cat. 5 today, Monday morning. Weakened back to a top end Cat. 4 by early evening Monday. Difference in impacts between a 4 and 5 hurricane is negligible. Severe hurricane warnings in effect from San Blas to Mazatlan including Las Islas Marias. Folks, if you are in an RV and are in the warning zone, get out of the RV and seek shelter; a hurricane with Cat. 4 or 5 wind speeds will tear RVs a part as much as 50 miles inland. It takes some time for a hurricane to wind down over land with Cat. 4 or 5 wind speeds; most people drown in the wall of water pushing in front of the hurricane.
