Mexican Diesel Fuel - Sulfur Levels Update

Felipe, notwithstanding what the naysayers may claim, there has been ULSD at Kino Bay for at least 3 years. I haven't received a single report of sulfur-in-fuel issues from that area for more than 3 years. This is CONSISTENT with Pemex documentation stating that there is ULSD there. In addition, Pemex says there is ULSD at Benjamin Hill, so you can fill up there too. I wouldn't expect you to have any issues with sulfur in the fuel for the region you travel in. And even when late model Ford owners take their trucks to places like the Southern Baja, it is extremely rare to have any issues. Fords are very tolerant of high sulfur levels in the fuel.
