How much are you paying for Mexican insurance and what company are you with? I just did an online quote with Sanborns and got the incredible price of over $980 for ONE MONTH! Same price as 6 months...

A couple years ago when I carried full coverage on our toad, I had a run in with a Mazatlan bus. Insurance was Mapfre through San Xavier. Called the 800 number had an agent within 15 minutes who spoke & understood English (we chose to not talk directly to anyone in Spanish). All was handled quickly and professionally. Had local repairs also quick & professional. Maz. is a pretty big city so I can't speak to problems away from population. Auto repairs are SO much less expensive then in the US, damage like I had $3000.00+ NOB, in Maz. just over $500.00 and done in 2 days
