:) Thanks for the info......and I knew mosquitoes don't go south for the winter... it's a joke my GF and I have......because every time we camp together, we seem to have a record # of skeeters. She made the comment one time that she swore they came from EVERYWHERE just to be at our camp. :)

I also shoot with a 100-400mm lens, mostly for the wildlife.

For the higher quality photos I shoot with a Canon 7D. Most of the landscape shots are with a Canon 24-105mm lens, using an aperture of F8, sometimes F10 if the light is bright.

For some landscape shots I use an ultra-wide Canon 10-22mm lens, usually when there is a dramatic sky that I also wish to capture.

We made the trip this year. Ten weeks of glorious scenery, activities, and animals. It was wonderful. I am still pinching myself to see if I'm dreaming. I can't believe we have been there and back. It was wonderful. And the best part was we met Sue and Steve! Boondocked in their front yard.

We started out with friends in another motorhome. They left for home (medical reasons) when we were in Valdez and we finished our planned trip on our own, including ferry hopping down through the Inside Passage. Loved having friends along, but did fine by ourselves after they left.
