Mileposts.

The year I retired DW and I went to Alaska. In an attempt to save a little money, we looked into buying a used Milepost. We ended up buying a new one and are glad we did. We would have passed a lot of things we enjoyed seeing that we would not have know was there. We also found the Church's book helpful and worthwhile as well. It was more helpful with some campgrounds some of the time. It also had a chart that compared historical gas prices. We found it after we bought gas at the most expensive place on the Alaska Highway. If we had found the chart earlier, we would have bought gas at an earlier town and would have saved enough money to buy both the Milepost and Church books a couple of times.
