Mileposts.

We went in 2005, 2009, and 2013, Bought one in 2005 and loved it, but found it bulky and hard to use while traveling because it is large and heavy. In 2009 and 2013 bought two copies each trip. Would use one book to read about the trip for the next day, then cut the pages out of the second book. It was a lot easier to use the loose pages than the book. We found it suited us. For the cost of the trip to Alaska the cost of two books is minuscule.

We thought we were through with our Alaska travels but are now planning a 2018 trip. What the heck, I'm only 74 and still feel young.
