Mileposts.
Planning trip next June. Are there actual mileposts on all the roads in Alaska as indicated in the Milepost book ?? Doug

Nope, it's based on the KM posts - at least in the Yukon (I don't recall checking BC and Alaska in recent years). The rest area noted as being at km 1566, for example, is a few yards past the Km 1566 post.
Yes you're correct that that I used "miles" instead of "Km" for the Canada part of the road, but my premises still applies. In the 2015 MilesPost it gives Km and miles together in Canada for driven distance.
