Certainly there can be traffic jams in any large city, even on routes that are ordinarily no problem. Riding with a friend, I once advised on the best way to DFW airport. Right! A wreck far ahead put us in a waiting mood.
Just to say, we have been through the Mobile tunnel both towing and non-towing since 1962 and, for what it's worth, we have never had a slow-down.
