Mobile hot spots
Canadians. What mobile hot spot or stick have you used successfully while travelling in Canada? Any that also work in the US?

Well I went to a Koodo kiosk today and a great guy named Scoot showed me how to turn my phone into a secure wifi hotspot. I have a very reasonable monthly plan that I would lose and not get back if I upgraded to a data plan for a month. The solution is to use data as needed. Cost is up to 3gig for $30. He put a warning on my phone to ensure that I don't go over. I only intend to use this if I need a secure hotspot or campground wifi is unuseable. Only checking email basically.
