Hello, I am traveling on I-90 west in MA. Should I take I-90W to I-87N to the CG or should I take I-787N to RT.7w to I-87?

Avoid the I787/I90 interchange area as they are doing major construction on the bridges and overpasses. I would take Mass Pike to the NYS Thruway Berkshire Extension, to I87.
