Must see places Pensacola to Tampa, FL

Hello everyone and thanks ahead for your input.

I am planning on traveling along the Gulf Coast of FL from Pensacola to Tampa and would like to know what are your must see places and sites.

We love nature, hiking, local food and unusual and kitschy fun places. We will be there end of April to early May.

    We used to just pull off the 399 road on Pensacola beach and spend the night boondocking... Nice night sounds off the beach... Actually sometimes spooky since there is no lights out that way haha... Then you see a light a long way off coming towards you and it usually ends up being a ranger on a four wheeler running the beach next to the water...

    They usually tell us to move on haha...
