olcoon, I did 2 whale watch boat rides, my wife did three, that was a big chunk of our entertainment dollars. We also flew around Denali for a couple of hours which was pretty pricy. We bought the TourSaver app which saved some bucks.

Snowman9000, The fuel for the toad is not included in the total. We only used 3 or 4 tanks of gas in the Tracker, probably less than 50 gallons.

Depends on the size you want. I just rented a 32' for around $2700 for 2 weeks. We rented from Great Alaskan Holidays. ABC motorhomes is another company. I saw several on the road and they looked like descent MH.

Thanks for posting this! We are wanting to go to Alaska, and I've been wondering how much it would cost. Just curious, the amount you spent on entertainment, did you go on many tours, etc.?

From our experience the above post is right on as far as average cost of this amazing trip! One can always cut back or add to. These are good figures to strive for. Thanks!!
