In my years and years of RV ownership, I've encountered a low rail road bridge only once! I had opportunity to turn around before reaching it. I've had no problems with any bridges. What scares the be-jeebers out of me though are narrow construction sites. But, if the semi's can make it, so can I. My truck is 8 feet wide (fat fender duly) and my trailer is 8 feet 6 inches (extreme to extreme). That's hairy in those walled, blocked off single lane road construction areas. Bridges???? never a problem. Slow down, be safe, and the guy behind you will just have to wait till you pass over it.
