Any tips on how to avoid the Nashville road construction heading south on I65?

Construction season is about over in Tennessee. There is one short stretch on the north side that you may not be able to avoid. Try to avoid rush hours. 9 AM-3 PM, or 9 PM-5 AM are the best times.
But you can check on TDOT SMARTWAY MAPS before you leave for traffic flow and construction.
Coming from the north, you can take Briley Parkway (SR 155) and I-440 to avoid downtown, and pick up I-65 or I-24 south or eastbound, depending on where you are going.
