Need advise on Rt. #250 South out of Wheeling, WV.

1st time traveling (in Class A) across Northern WV.and looking for info. regarding Rt. #250 south from Wheeling, WV. to Fairmont, WV. then north to Morgantown, WV., as to Mountains/Grade or any other difficulty.
Or would it be better to take #70 & then South on #79 in Penn.? Thank you for any advise and help.

    Take the interstates, Rt. 250 can be unpleasant in places. You'll only have one climb and it's a very moderate one when you first get onto 79S. Some other hills but nothing drastic. Take your time, it's a fairly scenic and relaxing drive.
