Need help finding an RV Park in NJ west of New York City.
We want to visit NYC, but do not want to get in the NYC type of traffic. Can not seem to find a place to park our 40' 5W while we visit NYC. The Park could be up to 50 miles to the west.

If you don't want to drive into Jersey City to use Liberty Harbor, the closest RV park west of New York is Fla-Net off exit 27 of I-80 outside Netcong. There is a train station a few miles away where you can get a ride into the city. North Jersey is just not condusive to RV camping. If your objective is to see the sights in New York City, and you want to stay in New Jersey, Liberty Harbor is your best option. You will save a lot of time getting in and out of the city by being just across the river.
