Yes you will need the tourist card. You should have received a temp sheet, with the TIP, that you exchange. They will want to see the TIP as all 3 (incl passport) get tied together in the computer. See https://portalsat.plataforma.sat.gob.mx/aduanas_cpitv_internet/index.aspx. Enter your VIN and see if anything is in the system yet. Did you get away with registering your truck & camper as an RV. You usually can when you do it online.
