The only question that remains is that I saw mentioned while crossing the border that the TIP last only as long as the owners FMM. We plan to leave the vehicle in Mex while visiting Cuba in November, upon our arrival back to Mex we will be issued with another FMM so time will tell.
You will be Ok, I flew to phoenix last year and left my rig behind. No issues. It shows as returned on their website. i do not think they process returned tourist cards, they just chuck them.
