Depends where in Nevada you camp.
The campground in Great Basin NP can be a pleasant 75 at 8000 feet when it is over 100 in the valley below.
Not all of Nevada is desert and sagebrush steppe. Lake Tahoe is 1/2 in Nevada. By some criteria Nevada is the most ecologically diverse state in the country.
