Does anyone have some feedback on taking Route 93 from Twin Falls, Idaho, south thru Nevada to end up at Penaca, then 319 east to Cedar City, Utah. It looks pretty desolate on the map, just looking for options to get to Zion NP from Oregon. Traveling in a 24' Motorhome, no toad, and may need a campsite en route. It has a couple of mountain passes, too. I just recall last time we traveled in Nevada en route to Carson City, it was pretty desolate. Thanks for any info.

US 93 is a great two lane highway. Yes, you need to keep an eye on fuel gauge as there is some fair distances between stations. No good options other then running the interstates.Doing similar route first of May.

I have herd that 93 from Twin falls Idaho is a good road and yes it's a little desolate.Their is gas in Twin Falls, Elko and at Ely, NV. Their are RV parks in Ely and Cave lake SP just east of Ely and a nice SP at Penaca ( Cathedral Gorge SP )

93 is a good road the whole way. You'll find gas at reasonable intervals until past Ely. FILL UP IN ELY!!! From Ely on, gas up where you can. (Basically, if you see a gas station, fill up.) There's a park and at least one casino with RV parking in Ely. There's a few places to park for the night in Jackpot and in Wells. There's a nice big rest area north east of Ely. After Ely, there are a lot of dirt pull outs that will work fine for a few hours of sleep.

It's a lonely road but a good one, or was last year this time. we were able to run 65 MPH most of the way down to the intersection of 15. were we fueled, prior to getting into Vegas

Do you take 318 south of Ely and then hook back up to 93 at Crystal Springs?
