  • Headquarters Campground in Fundy is within walking distance of town and yes, it's uphill going back! If you are in decent shape it's not a problem. As Tripalot said, Kelly's Bakery in town is the BEST. Their raisin bread and peanut butter cookies are fantastic as are their sticky buns. TripAdvisor shows a review as of 7/24, so they appear to be up and operational. They are open May to October. I consider the camping prices in Fundy very reasonable for their location and what you get. There are no campgrounds in Alma but there are other accommodations.

Forgot to tell you it is downhill walking into town; of course that means uphill going home - but doable. There used to be a good bakery in town with nice cinnamon buns - don't know if it is still there as it has been about 5 years since we were last there.
