My method for self education when embarking on a new venture is first to join an appropriate forum - so you have completed the first step by joining this forum.

Second step is to go back for say two years and read every single topic and every single post in every topic. Well, perhaps not all because as you can clearly see in this topic that about 20% of all those posting a reply are just idiots and/or trolls that can be safely ignored. Usually takes about three words of a post to figure out the time wasters so you can just skip them.

Then when you have finished, work out what questions you need to ask to get your knowledge level up to close to 100% of what you need to know.

Then the last step is to actually ask those questions BUT ask only one question per topic.

If you have done step two properly, you will know as much as the combined practical knowledge of all the members who have posted for the last two years - so this means you will know more than any single member here - SO it is quite normal for you to not have any questions at all apart from those relating to current situation and recent updates.

Mr: Benoit1967, tell us what area are you interested in spending your snowbird time in Mexico, I see that you are in the area of Calgary, so you might want the Peninsula de Baja California, or the West Coast of the main land, there are many places where to stay for some time, or you might want to travel a little further in to Mexico, there are some of us that do joke a bit in this forum, do not be discouraged ask the questions, we will try to answer.
