Should I go that fastest shortest way on the secondary roads or should I avoid them and stick to the interstates? Further does anybody have any recent experience at Saco River Camping Area other than what I can find online?
We surely would appreciate any help or suggestions anyone with experience with this route or area might have.

we are in Alton,NH ,as I write this....and drove the jeep to No Conway yesterday so the DW could visit some outlets
the way I came this trip is probably the way I will go to Conway next time also...
came up 495 to 93 to exit 11 in NH...took rt 3 to rt 28 to Alton...a few little towns but nothing major...mostly good 2 lane all the way...can stay on rt 28 to Wolfsboro to rt 16...then 16 all the way into the campground...not a bad trip at all....just 2 lane all the way but moved right along...Chuck
