New Mexico - Springer to Clovis (56,39,469,209)
Howdy,
Heading home from Red River, NM, in two days and am planning to go a different route than in the past: Springer->Clovis NM via NM 56->39->469->209. Anybody traveled those roads recently? Headed to Lubbock, TX from Red River, and then home to Fredericksburg, TX. Was informed in the campground that route was poor about 3 years ago (road condition). Hopefully conditions have been improved.
Alternatively, if that route turns out to be still poor, how about hwy 56 from Springer, NM to Clayton, NM?
