New Oaxaca campground

Re I overland. Is that ioverlander.com? My bitdefender anti virus/anti malware blocked the site with a warning "malware detected"

Maybe if they dont, maybe they would consider an on line version.

We are aware of the I Overlander website and have tried to use it. Just looked and no indication of any campground of any kind anywhere near Oaxaca. Other RV opportunities we are aware of in Mexico do not show up on this website. It can be a useful site but not as good as either Church or Bell - using the Church book and their updates very useful as are the Bell's notes. We use them all and keep info found on all sources we can find. I Overlander seems to be making progress but not there yet. Not strictly an RV website.

Those of you still using Church and Bell need to get with the times. While the Church book has great little maps and sight seeing info, I Overland is the cutting edge. This new campground is already listed. I mentioned this to Fausto when we stopped in Hermosillo. He or I need to get his place posted. The Overland Oasis in Oaxaca had 65 straight nights of occupancy in their first year due to sites like this.

And if we finally do, (we have missed them by a day or two through the years) we will do the same!

I am sure I will connect with them soemtime this season, I will encourage them to do another.

"At this point no but we will be traveling around the entire country this coming winter. We'll assess the demand during our travels."

We have bought every version of that book. I am sure they did not get rich on book sales! The Mexico book probably didn't cover their expenses. Seems it will no longer be published. I am good friends with them. My feeling is they will be doing another. They do not get rich off them

We have also bought the Bell's Road Logs and still use them - we have years worth of notes written all over the pages of the guides .
