Did the trip to Inuvit alone in my Jeep Wranger in 2014. Came over the Top of the World highway out of Alaska down to Dawson City then up the Dempster. Had my backpack in the Jeep and mostly tent camped at Provincial Parks along the way. No worse than doing the old Alcan in '67. No flat tires and no rocks in the windshield on either of those trips, 1967 or 2014.
They were talking about the new road and looking forward to it when I was in Inuvit. Guess I need to plan another trip up there so I can do the end of the road highway. :-)
