Sr. Moisheh, you are correct on the vehicle being allowed in Mexico twice in the same year, the problem is the persons visa, that one can only be issued once for 180 days in a 365 day period as a tourist so this limits the vehicle being in Mexico to 180 days also, this does not apply to foreighn persons studying in Mexico.
