Just looking at some of the places listed I'd be inclined to make it either a NW trip or a SW trip. Not both. Mid summer the NW looks more appealing. Do either a clockwise or anti clockwise loop. Anti clockwise if you want to do some of highway 101 or the N section of 1. Easy to turn right into the scenic laybyes over the ocean. The West is huge. Miles & miles of miles & miles.
