Just to answer a couple questions while i am working on revised route:
DW will be able to drive but will likely prefer it to be interstate (flat) vs other.
Not intending to be the trip of a lifetime, but I am not planning on long term RV'ing (i.e Multiple trips/multiple years with kids) and this two month trip is a luxury for our family until i retire. I know this seems short to you all but I generally only get off a couple of weeks a year so feels extremely long.
Goal was to experience RV'ing, see the National Parks/interesting places, and spend time with the family on an adventure. No mission or specific directional goals beyond that.
This was a bit of a last minute decision which has all come together in the last month and we leave in 3 weeks. In that time, we have bought an RV, TOAD, and made our first cut at plan and are having fun working through the challenges. I realize that this will likely seem crazy to most of you, but that's part of the fun of it for us!
We are flexible and will certainly adjust if it feels too rushed or we have any weather issues/Mech failures.
I was using 60MPH in my calculations so lowering that to 50MPH per advice above make a big difference.
RV is a '15 Georgetown 351DS - Toad is 08 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Back with a plan B shortly hopefully
Thanks Again!
