I know of a half-dozen couples who are currently caravanning through NL with their little fiberglass 'egg' trailers. They have been writing on another forum the same sort of comments about how kind and generous the people of Newfoundland are. Inviting the travelers into their homes, feeding them, giving them things, inviting them to informal, fun get-togethers with the locals, and so on. I looked up the demographics and thought it noteworthy that NL has a population of just 508,000 people, and more than 490,000 of those say they're Christians. I think they have taken the Golden Rule to heart and are living their faith.
