- KidooExplorerWe went a few years ago and did the west coast from south to north, up to L'Anse aux Meadows. We did boondock just about anywhere we liked and never been bothered. Especially in May, I do not think there are too many campgrounds open. I do not remember the exact spots, but it was not a problem at all and we only used a few campgrounds in 3 weeks travel. We also boondock just beside the fery in Sydney. NF in not very populated and people are very nice.
In May you will be in the Iceberg season I think. We went in July and never seen any, but if you go north, you should see them. I would like to go just to see it.
