Has anyone travelled Newfoundland in a 38 ft. 5th wheel and if so did you have a problem finding campgrounds for that size RV or maneuvering on the roads?

We crossed once to Argentia (long route). In those days the trip was 17 hours - said never again. The seas were very rough and most people were ill.
We prefer to take the shorter route. Going East we explore some of the penninsulas and coming back West, we do things we missed going East. This works out great for us - we take our time - camping cost is not a big issue and the fuel costs are cheaper than the extra cost of a ferry/berth/meals.
Hoping to make our 4th trip to NF next year.

When coming to NL remembrvthat there are 2 ferry routes. One to the southeast to Argentia. This one takes about 14hrs and it is wothwhile to book ahead and get a cabin(berth) for a comfortable sleep.
The second goes to the southwest part of the island. This takes about 7hrs.
Many travelers to our island arrive on one ferry and leave by the other.
