Route 1 does not stop in Calais Maine. It goes North for another 200 miles to Fort Kent Maine.
Route 1 all the way, in an RV would be a challenge. For instance in New York City Route 1 sort of skims along the north boundary of Harlem and cuts through the Bronx.
Could be a real adventure!
