Just did US 441 from Waynesville NC. to Inverness FL. Good road all the way, some 2 lane some divided 4 lane. Nice towns to stop in too. No issues pulling my 30 footer. It will be the way I go from now on. No interstate BS to put up with so its a lot less hectic. Not sure if you are intending on pulling anything but be ready for a workout if you go through New Found Gap in the SMNP to Gatlinburg if you do. Its steep. Lots of places to turn out if you need to. Be sure to stop at the top too. Big parking lot there but it could be crowded. Spend some time in the G'burg/ Pigeon Forge/ Sevierville area. Lots to see and do.
