How about a few links to the Gestapo harassing Gringos? Those Retens by Migra and Aduana are not new. They stop a few cars and move on. Which communities are having this huge problem? When did this take place? Were autos impounded? By whom? If this practice was widespread I would think the net would have something to confirm your story.
