The following countries are some of the ones that are more dangerous to tourists than Mexico.
Israel, India, Brazil, South Africa, Pakistan, Jamaica, Honduras, Egypt, Bali , Kenya, Peru, Thailand
For Canadians, Australia is more dangerous

I suspect most who come here and tell us its too dangerous or they have not seen all of the good old USA yet, actually want to try going there but are paranoid. Join an organized caravan if you are wary. I suspect you will go in future years on your own once you do.
The big dangers of Mexico for RVers are Topes, low trees & arches, & time share salesmen, not drug cartels.
