Just another freeway overpass with a gigantic green sign saying MARIPOSA ROAD. I fuel up way back up I-19 as the prices get stupid approaching the border. On Mariposa, there is a handy Wells Fargo bank branch on the left side. The last time I went through the Super Wal-Mart there I wasn't very impressed. To me, this is one of the smoothest heavily traveled POE/garitas on the border. Lukeville may be smoother but a Mexican friend called me yesterday and said it was 121F there.
