North South route to avoid Nashville
Anyone worked out a route with as few stop lights signs and little towns, that will allow you to bypass Nashville, Tn on I65 and I24? And Chattanooga? We have in the past car only taken 31 and 27...

North-South, there is not a good bypass for Nashville. East-West 840 is a lot further, but faster. Briley parkway is good from or to I-65 north, buy there is still a LOT of traffic north of the intersection. Except for during rush hours, straight through is usually the best and quickest. I-65 north, and I-24 East are always horrible, but doable.
