Obregon

Anyone take the Boulevard Las Torres around the Obregon mess. If so what shape is it in. On google earth some stretches look bad but mostly good. Of course that was in 2015 .
I'm curious as to how the people responsible for the roads through the city get away with letting them get that bad.
Also I watched as the highway maintenance guys dropped a shovel full of asphalt into a hole and move on. No bonding or packing firm, just leaving traffic to tamp it down. Of course in about an hour or less the hole is back.
It is good to see however that they are making headway on new road construction.

You should show the Mexican people how to "bond and pack" to do it your way!pinchon
  • Don't know the road names, but going south 2 weeks ago, we turned left just past WalMart, like usual. Part way down they are replacing the road, so made us turn left then right and share the northbound road. The block before rejoining the main road, there was a right and a left to put us back on the southbound road.

It was no better or worse than it usually is, probably a touch on the better than worse side.
