Ocean Lakes, Mrytle Beach

What route are you taking? Coming in from I95 or some other road? May be able to save you some time and aggravation. If 501 is your best way to approach MB, think leaving it at 544 is your best bet. If you can, try to avoid 501 from around 11AM Saturday until Saturday after dark - it can be a parking lot between those hours.

I would take the 22 extension in.. If you stay on 501 all the way in there is too much traffic imo...

501 to 544 544 it takes you right to ocean lakes front gate

US 501 and then get on SC544 right after the cooling pond by the power plant and follow it straight into Ocean lakes campground. we follow this every time.
getting on sc31 would not save you any time. unless you are traveling back out to north myrtle beach and that area.
using 544 will take you by coastal carolina college and there are stop lights and its 45mph but its the easiest way and 4 lanes all the way to the campground.
I do this route 2-3 times a year.
