- fwedExplorerParking or driving in Ogunquit is a mess for anything over a motor scooter -- take the trollley!
Fred. - Mick9064ExplorerThanks for the info. That trolley sounds perfect for what we want. I don't like driving once we get to a place.
Mick - CroweExplorerDemoon, thanks for the reminder on the trolley. We are almost always there in the off-season so we can run the dogs on the beach so parking isn't usually a huge issue. Much less stressful in an area like that to just ride and people watch (which Ogunquit is great for!).
- demoonExplorerWhat Crowe suggests is probably your only option. It is hard to find a spot for a car in Ogunquit and Perkins Cove is simply a no go for your rig. If you do find a spot, I would mention that there is excellent, fairly inexpensive trolley service throughout the Wells, Oqunquit area, so getting around is not a problem.http://www.shorelineexplorer.com/Routes,%20Fares,%20Schedules.html
- CroweExplorerYou might be able to park at Ogunquit Beach-I'd give them a call and ask. You aren't all that much bigger than an F350 quad cab with an 8 foot bed. It's usually $10 but you can park all day. If you are mobility impaired, that won't work as you have to walk back to town which is at most 1/2 mile. There are other parking lots but most aren't very large. Here's the number for the town: 207-646-5139. I've called them in the past and they've been very helpful. The MH will not fit in Perkins Cove at all but that entire area is very easy to walk.
