I am at the Downtown RV Park at Watson Lake, Seven Bear ( One Griz) Several tons of Bison, One moose at Laidard Hotsprings yesterday. Had to drag my Bride away fron the springs. She was ready to spend the summer in the water. Have ever told you all she is half fish?
Got scared a little. To long a streach with out gas so I was very happy to see Contact creek. got 49 gallons for a 55 gallon tank. That is the last time that is going to happen.
While in Watson Lake don't miss the NOrthern lights show and the food at Kathies Kitchen is great.
Have Phun, see you across the campfifre.
Boy, ChuckD37 you are doing just what we did. We are in front of you by a couple of days. Must have seen the same bears and Grizly. My husband was like your wife in the Hot Springs. He loved it. The campground was great so peaceful. We saw our moose at Toad River though. He came right up to the MH and then ran down to the lake behind us. We are in Whitehorse now. Staying at Pioneer RV park. Stay here and get .3 off litre gas or diesel. Propane here also and easy to get. Sites on bottom level nice and big for big MH (which I love) the ones up top more secluded but smaller.
We leave tomorrow (Fri) for Destruction Bay. If you stay at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV you can wash you MH and car at your site. Just a little plus. Not much to the camp but for one night who cares. My poor MH and car are crying for a bath. Even though she will get dirty again the next day on the road. Just like a child, (or fur-child)give them a bath and they play in the dirt, lol.
Having a wonderful time and hope everyone else is.
We have not seen any other "Roll Call" signs except Pasco1215 and he passed us up in Fort Nelson.
Where are you Pasco 1215? You must be in Alaska by now. You were moving faster than us.
Travel safe everyone. And wish I could meet more of you all.
Janet
