A friend in Dawson City tells me the ferry landings at the Yukon River are now clear of water.
The river is still running high so the ferry is taking more time for each crossing meaning there are fewer crossings. Thus, the waiting line is a bit longer than usual so please be patient if you're waiting to cross the Yukon River. Early morning or later afternoon are usually the best times to cross.
When we planned to be heading west on the Top of the World Highway the next day, we usually overnighted at the Yukon River Yukon Gov't campground across the river in West Dawson. Then in the morning we could head up the Top of the World Highway without waiting in line for the ferry crossing.
